Julie Allman

 

Julie is our missionary in the Ukraine. She is from New Brighton, PA and went to Winter Retreats and Youth Camps with the “kids” from our church.  Just like here at Glenn Street Church, Julie is also reaching out through small groups.  Julie leads small groups in Kyiv, Ukarine’s capital that are targeted towards students

First 2007 VBS Staff Meeting

 

Put April 29th following worship on your calendar

For our first VBS Staff Organizing, Training, & Work Meeting. 

 

We’ll meet for lunch and overview of this year’s theme.

 If you worked VBS last year, you know how rewarding it was –

 if not, this meeting is a good way to find out where you might fit in to the VBS Staff.

VBS is scheduled for August 6th through the 10th.

 

 

 

 

 

 

“The Messiah in the Passover”

 

On Saturday, March 31st,

in  Fellowship Hall

“Chosen People Ministries”

will present

“The Messiah in the Passover.

 

You are invited to share in a unique and educational celebration this Easter Season on Saturday, March 31st Israel Cohen from “Chosen People Ministries” will explain the symbolic meanings of the various items of the Passover feast and highlight their relationship to the Last Supper.  We will observe Holy Communion together following the presentation.  Mark this date on your calendar and sign the clipboard on the back table.  Childcare will be available.  Please call the church office or see Linda Harris to register your children.

We can use a few more people for the 4:15 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. shift.
